“Service to Humanity, Service to God..”

I am extremely privileged to lead DVVPF institute which is an undisputed pioneer in the field of training, education and research. We at DVVPF follow the motto of “Service to Humanity, Service to God” on accounts of which we continuously upgrade the benchmark through latest teaching tools, world class training modules and equipment’s, exploration of new research avenues to cope with ever changing educational and medical practice scenario. One of the newest facility launched by our foundation is the inauguration of the District Disability Rehabilitation Center (DDRC). This is the only institution in the Ahmednagar district that is providing this opportunity to the physically challenged. The DDRC was established in the month of September 2018. The purpose was to serve the needy and the underprivileged suffering with physical disabilities which had become a major barrier for their physical and social performance. With the establishment of the DDRC the physically challenged have been provided with facilities like early intervention, physiotherapy, psychological counselling, hearing aids, artificial limbs, computer training and other skillful training. Since the center has been set up in the multidisciplinary hospital campus, the patients requiring additional medical aids are further provided with their respective surgical and medicinal needs. Along with this the center also issues the UDID cards to the physically challenged which helps them avail further benefits. By providing all of these facilities the center aims at making the life of the physically challenged smoothly functional. It gives me immense pleasure in announcing that a total of 2285 have been availed with the UDID card and a total of 3331 have been the beneficiaries of this service. I am overwhelmed by the team of hard working staff and learned in charge members who have helped in achieving the aim of raising the bars to define new standards of quality health care for the physically challenged.
