The Prime Minister Divyasha Centre operates under the National Portal for Assistive Technology (NPAT) and provides comprehensive support to persons with disabilities across India. Assistive Devices for Senior Citizens

The Vyoshree Yojana scheme provides essential assistive aids and equipment to senior citizens aged 60 years and above to support their mobility and daily living activities.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Age: 60 years and above
  • Income: Below maximum limit as per government norms
  • Permanent resident of Maharashtra
  • Not received assistance previously (or after specified period)

  • Income Certificate (issued by Tahsildar)
  • Residence Certificate
  • Bank Account Details (Passbook Copy)

Assistive Devices for Persons with Disabilities

The Disability Scheme provides comprehensive assistive aids and equipment to persons with disabilities (40% and above) to enhance their mobility, independence, and quality of life.

  • Wheelchairs (Manual, Powered, Sports)
  • Walkers & Rollators
  • Crutches & Canes
  • Orthotic Devices (Calipers, Braces)
  • Hearing Aids (Analog & Digital)
  • Speech Amplifiers
  • Braille Kits & Reading Aids
  • White Canes (for visually impaired)
  • Prosthetic Limbs
  • Mobility Aids & Reaching Devices
  • Pressure Relief Cushions
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Disability: 40% or more (as per UDID Card)
  • Income: Below maximum limit as per government norms
  • Permanent resident of Maharashtra
  • Not received assistance previously (or after specified period)
  • Age: No upper age limit
Required Documents:
  • Aadhar Card (Original & Photocopy)
  • UDID Card (Unique Disability ID)
  • Income Certificate (issued by Tahsildar)
  • Residence Certificate
  • Bank Account Details (Passbook Copy)
  • Medical Certificate (from authorized medical professional)
Important Conditions & Restrictions
  • One-time Assistance: Each beneficiary is eligible to receive assistance only once, or as per government norms
  • Device Condition: Devices are provided in working condition. Damage due to misuse is not covered
  • Maintenance: Basic maintenance is the responsibility of the beneficiary
  • Income Limit: Income should be below the prescribed limit as per government guidelines
  • Age Requirement: Must meet age criteria as per respective scheme
  • Verification: All documents and information provided will be verified with government records
  • Transparency: Selection process is based on merit and eligibility only
